Married 29 December 1844, to Maria Johnson, issue: 7 children. Mr. Hall enlisted 27 April 1862 at Waynesville, GA in Company A, 4th GA Calvary Regiment, C.S.A., later transferring to Company K. He was discharged August, 1863 by order of the Confederated Secretary of War on account of being a county officer. He served as Clerk of Appling Superior Court, 1862-64, and as Justice of Peace, 457th district,1864-1868.
