Though married at the time of her death, Naomi died at her mother's home in Philadelphia. This snippet from the March 18, 1926 Harrisburg Telegraph may explain why the two were apart.

Feb. 16, 1915, Harrisburg Patriot. As you can see by the accompanying marriage licenses, they were wed that very day.

Two years later, June 5, 1917, Naomi's husband Ross had to register for the WWI draft, and mentioned he was married with one child. He worked as a railroad clerk.

Naomi, daughter of Anna Laura (nee Miller) and George D. Romberger, married Ross Holler Hamsher. She passed away in 1930 and Ross apparently married once more.

The Harrisburg Patriot has several accounts of Naomi, alone or with her sisters Mary and Lila, doing singings and readings for both societies like the YWCA or temperance groups. Naomi won an award for an essay she wrote on the subject of temperance.

Naomi passed as young as she did due to uterine cancer. Other descendants of her father and mother would battle breast cancer.
