Ethel Bradford Gorham, 99, passed away at Dogwood Village Tuesday March 24, 2014. She was born May 30, 1914 in Fairfax, VA to Howard Franklin Bradford and Vergie Wenzel Bradford; was raised by her grandmother Etta Cunningham due to the death of Vergie; was a member of Brown's Chapel Methodist Church in Fairfax and enjoyed being a homemaker.
Surviving Mrs. Gorham are her children, Margie Boggs (Bobby) of Culpeper, VA and Albert Edward Gorham, Jr. (Pat) of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Sharon (Bo) Kilby, Bobby, Jr. (Rhonda) Boggs and Rachelle (Kyle) Scott and seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Albert Edward Gorham, Sr., and her siblings. Mrs. Gorham is the last of her generation within her family.
Graveside funeral services will be held in Culpeper Masonic Cemetery, Thursday, March 27, 2014 at1 p.m. with Pastor Howie Holmes conducting the service.
Memorial contributions should be made to the Hospice of the Rapidan, P.O. Box 1725, Culpeper, VA 22701 or to the Providence Bible Church, 17211 Greens Corner Road, Culpeper, VA 22701.
