Barbara Ann Pinto Mixon, was born, February 5, 1940 to William G. and Thelma F. Pinto.

She graduated from Ball High School in 1958 and San Jacinto College South in 1984. She served in many capacities of community activities and services in Houston where the family lived south of Hobby airport, for over forty-five years.

Aunt Barbara Ann Pinto Mixon passed away
at her home in south Houston April 27, 2005 after a trying time of Alzheimers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William G. "Bill" Pinto & his wife Thellma F. Pinto, and a brother.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur Kelly Mixon, son "Mike" Mixon and his wife Karen of Payullap, Washington; brother-in-law Martell Mixon, wife Willie of Jasper, Tx, sisters-in-law Juanita Baggett of Kinder, La., Ouida Hicks and her husband Dick of Jasper, Tx., numerous nieces and other relatives and friends.

Barb, you & I could hardly wait for Jeopardy to come on TV each day to compete for the answers. I would go shopping with you, and help you with the potting of your plants. Walking your big dogs was not something anyone could do, but I guess they liked me because they would try to 'eat' every one else....

A small bunch of flowers on the kitchen table always made you happy....
