"Ignacia L. 'Nachy' Acevedo 1921-2003
Ignacia L. Acevedo, of Willcox died Nov. 30, 2003, in Tucson at the age of 82. She was born in Bonita on July 4, 1921 to Juan and Juanita (Moraga) Leon.
She was a homemaker and lived all her life in the Willcox area. Nachy was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include her sons Raul (Rita) and Richard (Rosemari) both of Tucson; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, a daughter Elvia A. Miranda, and a son Paul L. Acevedo preceded her in death.
A Rosary will be offered on Friday, Dec. 5, beginning at 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Willcox with Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., at the church. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Willcox.
Services are under the direction of Westlawn Chapel, Mortuary and Crematorium of Willcox.
