Tillie Belle Palmer was born on June 10, 1898 in Leroy, Pa. to Elton Reed Palmer and Christine Amanda McKeel. She graduated from college in 1919 with a degree in teaching and taught for nearly 50 years. She married Robert Lynn Beck on July 2, 1920 in Bradford County, Pa. Tillie died at the age of 95 on April 29, 1994 in Muncy, Pa. and was buried next to her husband in Picture Rocks Cemetery in Lycoming, Pa.
