Joseph Lawson Condor, 55, was found dead in bed this morning in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Inetha Smith, here.
An employee of the State Highway Department, he was born in Young County, Tx., the son of James Wesley Condor and the late Mrs. Belle Harris Condor.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mae Condor of Henderson; three daughters, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Geneva Stewart of Henderson and Mrs. Newanda Cross of Bemis; two brothers, Earl and Elvin Condor of Morrow, Ohio; sisters, Bessie Carpenter of Earl, and Mrs. Winnie Mooney and Mrs. Pauline Mooney, both of Memphis; 13 grandchildren.
The body will be at Morgan Funeral Home until time for the Funeral services which will be held at 1 p. m. Friday at the Pinson Baptist Church of which he was a member.
Rev. Vance Marberry and the Rev. J. T. Drace will officiate. Burial in Unity cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Active, Taz Enoch, Hubert Steed, Lee Stewart, C. E. Croom, Wynn Sparks and Everett Haynes; honorary, L. M. Wade, C. L. Knight, C. F. Freeman, Marvin Reddin, A. M. Bates and J. T. Casey.
