Daughter of James Armour and Isabel Logan from Scotland.
Wife of Donald Dobbie 1817-1875 also from Scotland. They were married in 1837 and had the following children:
* James Dobbie 1838–1840
* Andrew Ferguson Dobbie 1843–1923
* John Dobbie 1844–1902
* Isabella Logan Dobbie, Mrs George Leidig 1847–1923
* Margaret Broom Dobbie 1849–abt 1860
* Agnes Dobbie, Mrs Charles Benbrook 1852–1934
* Donald Dobbie 1857–1923
* Georginia Dobbie, Mrs David Smart 1858–1931

A story about Donald and Agnes:
Sometime after the birth of his daughter Georginia, Donald left the family behind in Illinois and traveled overland to become a miner in the area around Mariposa, California. Agnes later (after 1860) brought the children through the Isthmus of Panama to join Donald in California. Agnes was in her 45th year when she died in Mariposa (The Daily Bee, Sacramento, Fri, Dec 12, 1862). The cause of her death was not determined but it is likely related to the trip with her children across the Isthmus. After working the mines for a few years, Donald took his family to Los Angeles, California where he worked for a short time as a farmer. At some point, he continued on without his grown family to the area around Prescott, Arizona where he died in Skull Valley in 1875.
