Deceased Name: CREW, CARROLL G.
An engineer for WBRZ, Baton Rouge, a chief engineer for Public Broadcasting of Alexandria, and resident of Alexandria, he died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 1996, in Rapides Regional Medical Center. He was 73. Visiting at John Kramer & Son Funeral Home, Alexandria, 9 a.m. until religious services in the chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville. Survived by wife, Betty Crew, Alexandria; two daughters and a son-in-law, Carolyn Crew Cangelosi and David Cangelosi and Elizabeth Crew; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael O. Crew and Richard and Lisa Crew, all of Baton Rouge; a brother, Alvin Crew, Alexandria; five grandchildren, John G. Ellis, Lisa, Camille and Charles Cangelosi and Erick Crew; and a great-grandchild, Cole Ellis, all of Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by parents, Otis R. Crew and Beulah Stephenson Crew. Pallbearers will be James Thomasee, David Cangelosi, John Ellis, Shannon Doucet, Quinton Hart and Tom Sanford. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Family requests memorials be made to the Leukemia Society of America Inc., Louisiana Chapter, 3636 S. I-10 Service Road, West Metairie, LA.
