He died Tuesday at the Rankin General Hospital in Brandon after a brief illness.
He was a wholesale salesman for the Oklahoma Furniture and Manufacturing Company of Guthrie, Okla. He was a member of the Pearl Presbyterian Church of Jackson. He held a lifetime membership in the Lions International and was active in all civic affairs.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lila Wilson Bright of Jackson, his step-mother, Mrs. Dovie Bright of Jackson; eight sisters, Mrs. Ethel Hunt, Mrs. Ella Staples and Mrs. Nannie Files, all of Ackerman, Mrs. Margarett McGaugh of Jackson, Mrs. Jeanette McGill of Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Mavis Bruce of Fort Smith Ark., Mrs. Elene Wiggins and Mrs. Lonnie Knight of Coquille, Oregon; and four brothers, Rex Bright of Atlanta, Ga., William Allan Bright of Baton Rouge, La.,and John clark of Ocala, Fla.
