ROLLA DAILY NEWS, VOL 76, FRIDAY, 31 AUGUST 1951; MRS NANCY SHARPE DIES AT HOME HERE..(on front page of paper): Mrs Nancy Sharp, widow of the late Jesse Sharp, 206 S. Olive Street died at the home early this morning. She was 89 years of age. Mrs Sharp had lived in Rolla for the past 65 years. She was born 25 June 1862, at Isard, ARKANSAS. Survivors include three sons, George and Joe of Rolla, Ben of Willow Springs, and three daughters, Mrs. Addie Hodges of Rolla, Mrs. Minnie Gordon of Kennett, MO and Mrs Mazie Price of Revere, MO. Three brothers, and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren also surviving. Funeral Rites will be conducted at the Null and Son Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM Sunday and burial will take place in the Macedonia Cemetery under the direction of Null and Sons".

THE ROLLA HERALD, page 3, Sept 6, 1951: "Mrs. Nancy Sharp Dies; Lived in Rolla 65 years" Mrs. Nancy Sharp, 89, a resident of Phelps county for 65 years passed away early last Friday morning, Aug 31, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Addie Hodges, 206 South Olive Street. Mrs. Sharp was the widow of the late Jesse D. Sharp (Should read Jesse P. (Pierce ). She was born at Isard Ark. June 25, 1862, and had been a member of the Christian Church since childhood. Besides Mrs. Hodges, two other daughters, Mrs. Minnie Gordon of Kennett and Mrs. Mazie Price of Revere, MO survive. There are also three sons, George and Joe of Rolla, and Ben of Willow Springs. Three brothers and a number of grandchildren and g-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Null and Sons Chapel by the Rev. Neal M. Lovell. Burial was in the Macedonia Cemetery.
