Funeral services for Oscar Oakley, Jr. 28, who was instantly killed in a coal mine accident at Melbourne, W. Va., Wednesday, were conducted Sunday at Deering. Burial was in that community.
The body was returned to Deering Saturday. Oakley is survived by his wife and one child.
