Rudy C. Bonds resided in Ozark, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, in Ozark. He was born January 16, 1915 in Cecil to the late William Bonds and Sarah L. Smith Bonds. He was 94 years old.

He is also preceded in death by his wife, Melba A. Walker Bonds.

He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 17, 2009, at the Faith Missionary Baptist Church, with Bro. Daniel Kesterson and Bro. Larry Huffman officiating. Burial will be at the Cemetery Ridge Cemetery, south of Ozark, under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

He is survived by four daughters, Avery Mantooth, Willa Pruitt and Carol Willhite, all of Ozark and Ione Daniel of Clarksville; two sons, Earl Bonds of Ozark and Jack Bonds of Cecil; one sister, Volene Battles of Glendora, California; (16) grandchildren (30) great grandchildren and (3) great-great grandchildren.

Pall Bearers were his grandsons: James & Billy Joe Gude, Kevin, Paul,& Randal Bonds, Bryan Pruitt, Greg Willhite and John Daniel.

Honorary Pall Bearers were his granddaughters: Mary White, Karen Fisher, Terri Sims, Tracie Fate, Connie Cady, Christa Littlefield, Amy Whitson, and Sheila Payne.
