Roy R. Kennedy, 76, died Thursday, Feb. 9, at a Fresno Hospital of a lengthy illness.
A native of Heber Springs, Ark., he had been a Chowchilla resident for 47 years. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by three sons, Robert, Rick and Ronnie Kennedy, all of Chowchilla; four daughters, Linda Allen, Marlene Allen, Donna Ross and Marsha Coast, all of Chowchilla; a brother, Floyd Kennedy of Manford, Okla.; 20 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14 at the Chowchilla District Cemetery.
