The tombstone gives date about 1820 and his son James E. Burnside b 1845 wrote in letter to a cousin in the 1930's that his father, Andrew, was about 12 to 13 years old when his grandfather (John) died 1835/37, which is the reason I use the 1821 birth year, much closer than 1829 as stated.
