Dorothy Janet Petrinovich, 83, of Merced died Friday at Mercy Hospital. Mrs. Petrinovich was a native of Seattle. She lived in Merced 72 years. She was an apartment manager. She worked several years as a medical receptionist and also at the Merced County Assessor's office. She managed Ray Douglas restaurant for several years.
She is survived by her son, Pete Petrinovich Jr. of San Jose; and sisters, Marion "Marnie" Latorraca of Merced and Helen Greenamyer of Mariposa. Private inurnment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park. Stratford Evans Merced Chapel in charge of arrangements. Remembrances may be made to John Latorraca Scholarship Fund at Merced College, 3600 M. St., Merced 95340.
