Mrs. Nellie Evans, 73, wife of John A. Evans, 507 South Jackson street, died at 10:30 p.m. Friday at the Clinton County Hospital. She also leaves one son, Byron, of Frankfort.
The body was removed to the Goodwin Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Goodwin Funeral Home for Mrs. Nellie Florence (Dunbar) Evans, who passed away at 10:30 p.m. Friday at the Clinton County Hospital.
She was born in Montgomery county near Colfax on October 20, 1871, the daughter of Silas and Eliza Jane (Chenoweth) Dunbar. On April 28, 1904, she was united in marriage with John A. Evans, who survives. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star.
Besides the husband, she is survived by one son, Byron D. of Frankfort; and one sister, Mrs. Sue McBee of Linden.
