John Clairburn Chisum, 81, pioneer resident of the Panhandle, died at his home 10 miles north of Stinnett this morning following a stroke of paralysis.
Mr. Chisum came to Hutchinson county 25 years ago and bought the ranch where he lived at the time of his death.
A Masonic funeral service will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at the Wilson-Carver Funeral home in Borger. The body will be buried at the Lieb school house near Stinnett tomorrow afternoon at 2:30.
