GARRISON - Funeral services for Mr. Billy White, 66, of Garrison, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, at First Baptist Church in Garrison with Rev. John McGuire, pastor of First Baptist Church in Garrison, officiating. Burial will be in Caledonia Cemetery under the direction of Garrison Funeral Home.
Mr. White passed away Jan. 11, 2005, in Kilgore. He was born Dec. 15, 1938, in the Oak Grove Community, Nacogdoches. He retired in 1989 from Corps of Engineers as a construction representative. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Garrison and attended the Garrison school system.
He was preceded in death by parents, Drew Edwin White and Jewell Lois (Anderson) White and wife, Joyce (Crawford) White.
Survivors include: sons, Johnny Edwin White and wife, Mary, of Crockett, Drew White and wife, Amy, of White Wright, Texas and Bill Wright of Nacogdoches; brothers, Johnny Alfred White of Baytown and Jimmy White of Jumbo, Texas; sisters, Pearlie Mae Allen of Lakewater, Eva Lois White of Nacogdoches, Fay Smith of Longview, Virginia Gillis and Gail Byrd, both of Kilgore and Ann Green of Jumbo; five grandchildren, Casey Baker, Jeffrey and Haylea White, Hannah and Noah White; two great-grandchildren, Curt and Chase Baker; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers are Paul Smith, Kelly White, Robert Weber, James Chambless, Ricky Lewis, Jeffrey White, Joe Ward and Keith Shands.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Smith and Noah White.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, at Garrison Funeral Home.
