"Mrs. Ruth R. Cottrell, 62, 820 E. Key St., Eustis, passed away Monday in Eustis. She was born in Petersburg, Va., and moved to Eustis from Indianapolis, Indiana in 1953. She was a clerk for the Lake County Sheriff's Office, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis, the DAR [Ocklawaha Chapter], and a past president of the Jr. Woman's Club of Eustis.
"She is survived by her husband, J.D. Cottrell of Eustis; two sons, Duncan of Eustis and Kevin of Columbia, S.C.; two daughters, Miss Sally Cottrell of Decatur, Ga., and Mrs. Leigh Mysinger of Eustis and five grandchildren.
"Memorial services for Mrs. Cottrell were held from the graveside of the Greenwood Cemetery in Eustis with Rev. Joseph C. Brandon officiating. Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Directors of Eustis in charge of arrangements."
