He had lived in Templeton and Kittanning areas most of his life. He retired in 1974 as a station engineer for the Apollo Gas Company, where he worked for 48 years.
Surviving are his wife, Bessie (Forrenger) Beatty; one son, Randy Beatty of Kittanning R.D. 4; one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Beverly) Bowser, of Kittanning, R.D.; one brother, Charles Beatty, of Kittanning, five grandchildren, and two great grand children. He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Services will be held at the Bauer Funeral Home, Kittanning, with the
Rev. Charles W. Whipple, pastor of Center Hill Church of the Brethren officiating.
