Daisie Della Miller, 95, of 180 Knox Road, Gettysburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Green Acres Nursing Home, Gettysburg.

Born Oct. 4, 1903, in Doakesville [Nokesville], Va., she was the daughter of the late Luther and Bertha Holsinger Diehl. Her husband, Charles F. Miller, died in 1981.

Her daughter, Annetta Rider, died one hour before her mother.

Mrs. Miller was a member of Foresquare Gospel Church, Gettysburg.

She is survived by daughter M. Marie Yingling of Gettysburg; two sons, Charles F. Miller Jr. of Gettysburg and Harold E. Miller of Orrtanna; 13 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy Minor of Hayward, Calif., and Anna Simmons of Ponca City, Okla.

She was also predeceased by daughter Mildred Jacoby in 1995.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 24, at 10:30 a.m. at Monahan Funeral Home, Gettysburg, with her pastor, the Rev. C. Marty Jenkins, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg.

Friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the funeral home.
