DRAPER - Our Beloved husband, father, grandfather, "Great'ol Pa", brother and friend Floyd Williams, 82, passed on to a new beginning March 13, 2002.
Floyd was born April 8, 1919 in Cardwell, Montana to Peter A. and Thelma Hanson Williams.
He was a veteran of World War II serving three and a half years with the combat engineers in the Philippine Islands.
He married Margaret Vawdrey Jan 24, 1942.
He was a master electrician and was retired from SLC School District.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, daughter Susan (Mike) Johnson, son, Thomas C. (Terri) Williams; brother, Tom Williams of Grass Valley, Calif.; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, brothers Leo, Tony, and Raymond, sisters Verna, Madeline, Myrtle and half sister Josephine.
It was his explicit wish to forego funeral services.
Cremation has already taken place. Friends may call Margaret at her home. We will all miss his love, friendship, distinctive humor and "Homestead Stories".
