David B. Swetnam, 85, formerly of Riverside, died Sunday in a nursing home in Richmond, MO. where he lived. He was born in Armstrong, MO and had lived in the KC area 63 years. Mr. Swetnam was a welder for the Standard Steel Co. for 23 years before he retired in 1963. He was a member of the Gladstone Chapel of God. he leaves his wife, Mrs. Rosa Lee Swetnam, Elk River, Minn; three sons, David L. Swetnam and Ralph L. Swetnam of Riverside and Wayne A. Swetnam,Richmond; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Mount Moriah Terrace Park Chapel; burial in East Slope cemetery.
