Alvin Jackson Cannon was the son of James (Jim) and Rebecca (Anglin) Cannon.

Mr. Cannon first married on July 13, 1902 in Hickman County, Tennessee to Richard (Richie) A. Plunkett daughter of Steven and Sarah J. "Rodgers" Plunkett.
To this union 4 children were born: Emma, Grace, Pete and Elise. Richard Plunkett died two weeks after Elise was born Feb 24, 1910.
Mr. Cannon second married on Feb. 16, 1911 Humphreys County, Tennessee to Amanda (Mandy) "Dudley" Sisk, daughter of Clara Dudley in Humphreys County, Tennessee.
