Benjamin F. Knight, 81, a former treasurer of Lancaster County, died Thursday morning at his home, 1309 No. 66th. He had lived in Bethany and vicinity 53 years and was a member of Bethany Christian church. Mr. Knight was county treasurer from 1900 to 1904.
He leaves three sons, James of Greenough, Mont., William B. of Chapman and Russell Arthur at home; three daughters, Mrs. Jessie Doubt, Miss Grace and Miss Alma Knight, all of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Moore and Mrs. Lulu Watson, both of Greenwood, Ind., and three brothers, John Wesley Knight of Walton, Clarence of Wardell, Mo., and Alonzo of Paragon, Ind.
