She was born Jan. 16, 1928 to Marcus and Helena Auld, and was followed by two siblings; JM Jr. and Nancey. Marjane devoted her life to her family, friends, and to a long career in education.
She received a Bachelors degree in Sociology and a Masters degree in Education from the University of Texas and specialized in teaching home-bound students, as well as training other teachers.
She is survived by six nieces, a nephew, several cousins, her loving angels and many friends who loved her very much.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at Grimes Funeral Home, Kerrville. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local library. Cremation arrangements under the direction of Goodnight and Snell Funeral Directors.
