John was born on January 23, 1935 in Mutual, Carbon County, Utah to James and Yolanda Burraco Ciarus.
He married Janice Fe Funk on July 22, 1972 in Ferron, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on January 17, 1976.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 14, 2009 at 12:00 noon in the Millsite Ward Chapel (35 West 200 North, Ferron). There will be a viewing held on Monday from 10:00 - 11:45 a.m. prior to the services at the Church.
Interment will be in the Ferron City Cemetery.
