Born in Kentucky in 1859, she was a member of the Grand Avenue Baptist Church of Fort Smith.
In addition to the daughter, Mrs. Acord is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. T. L. Boitel, Spiro; Mrs. A. Tolbert, Ashland, Okla., and Mrs. C. A. Buckner, Ozark; three sons, N. R. Acord, Great Falls, Mont., S. B. Acord, Ozark, and Leonard Acord Fort Smith; two sisters; three brothers; 50 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Pilot Grove cemetery, Ozark, with Rev. W. A. Crowe, pastor of the South Fort Smith Baptist church officiating.
