Last Rites Held For Walter Armstrong In New Hebron

New Hebron. Sept .12 - Funeral services were held here for Walter Armstrong, 60, who died at his home after a lingering illness. Rites were conducted from the Old Silver Creek Baptist church, officiated by Brother Phillips, assisted by the pastor of the Silver Creek Baptist church.

He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mars. Mozelle Martin, Mrs. Mamie Lee Thurman, both of Mobile, Ala., Mrs. Katie Mae Nations, Bridgeport; two sons, Percy Armstrong, Crystal Springs and Billy Armstrong, New Hebron; three sisters, Mrs. Leat Bourne, Oakvale; Mrs. May Polk, Prentiss; Mrs. Mag Thurman, New Hebron; three brothers, Nathan Armstrong, Prentiss; Earl and Louis Armstrong, Silver Creek and several grandchildren.
