Wallace Reid Baggett, 60, Brewster, died Friday at Pateros.
Born in Tuttle, Okla., on Sept. 1, 1920, he was in the US Air Force for 10 years, serving in World War II and the Korean War. After military service, he graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane.
Mr. Baggett was a social worker in Spokane and Omak and had been with the Medical Service Bureau in Okanogan. He had been a resident of the area for approximately 16 years.
He was a member of the American Legion Columbia Post, No. 97, Brewster.
Survivors include two daughters, Mella Perry, Newport, Wash., and Lisa Baggett, Sunnyvale, Calif.; four sons, Jim, Steve and Tommy John Baggett, all of Pasco and Paul Baggett of Spokane; his mother, Minnie Baggett, Antlers, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. Patrick Libby, Austin, Texas; three brothers, Victor Baggett of Wichita, Kan., Stokes Baggett of Oklahoma City, Okla., and W. J. Baggett, Jr., of Antlers and one granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 17, at 3 pm at Brewster Cemetery with Columbia Post No. 97, American Legion participating. Burial services were in the Brewster Cemetery. Arrangements by Barnes Chapel, Brewster.
