IUKA - Mavious McKee Pruitt, 81, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at her home. She was a faithful member of the Iuka Church of Christ. She was a loving homemaker, mother and friend. She loved to cook, fish, work in her yard and spend time with her family and friends.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka with Lance Foster officiating. Burial will be in the Rutledge-Salem Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Roger Pruitt of Trezvent, Tenn., Mark Pruitt of Albertville, Ala., and Tommy Pruitt of Rienzi; one daughter, Becky Parsons of Iuka; two sisters, Rubine Clark of Ripley and Ollie Nell McKee of Iuka; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vester Pruitt; three sons, an infant, Dennis Delman Pruitt, Danny Gregory Pruitt and Jessie James Pruitt; her parents, Mark and Nettie McKee; and a sister, Mavis Shook.
Members of the Iuka Church of Christ will serve as pallbearers.
