Mrs. Hammons was a native of Arkansas, and a Borger reside for 54 years. She was a housewife, and member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy Spears of Houston and Tommy Dale Tucker of Marion, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Maxine Knight of Arkansas; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Stavlo of Borger and Mrs. Opal Milum of Hobbs, N.M.; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services for Maudie May Tyler Hammons, 85, of Leisure Lodge, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Merrill, pastor of the Victory Baptist Church in Stinnett, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Hammons died Tuesday at 12:15 a.m. in North Plains Hospital.
