Funeral Services For Mrs. Fayette Winslow
Funeral services for Mrs. Fayette Winslow were held Wednesday afternoon, February 4th, from the Log Church in Brewster, with Reverend Ray Glessner of Mansfield officiating. Pall bearers were R. C. Wanamaker, Earl Hunt, Ray Witinger, H. Lautensleger, Art Brown and Ray Warner.
Anne Elizabeth Winslow, 72, died at her home in Brewster Sunday morning after a long illness. Born February 24, 1876, at Memphis, Missouri, she moved to Port Angeles, Washington in 1913. She was married in 1914 to Albert Hyde, who passed on. She then married Fayette Winslow at Port Angeles in 1932. She has lived in Brewster for the past several years. She was a member of the Brewster Congregational church and the Ladies Aid.
Surviving are her husband; two brothers, Henry and Ernest Emery, both of Port Angeles; two sisters, Mrs. Vina Corning of Seattle and Mrs. John Winters of Port Angeles; four daughters, Mrs. Vera Palmer, Mrs. Wes Curtis, Mrs. Marion Ward and Mrs. L. Sparks, all of Brewster; one step daughter, Mrs. Mabel Whitinger, Cashmere; three step sons, Don and Chas. Winslow of Stockton, California and Glenn Winslow of Reno, Nevada; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Smith Funeral Home of Pateros was in charge of funeral arrangements.
