Billie Jo Isbell Stovall of Mooringsport, LA passed away Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Vivian Healthcare. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Monday, September 14, 2009 at Mooringsport United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Mooringsport Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 4-6 PM Sunday the 13th at the Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian. Billie was born February 4, 1930 in Frankston, TX to Tom and Georgia Henderson. She was a resident of Mooringsport for most of her life, and lived in Vivian for the past few years. She was a member of the Mooringsport Methodist Church. Her greatest loves where her girls, her grandchildren, and her dog, Angel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Georgia Henderson, her husband and the father of her children, John D. Isbell, Jr., the love of her life. She is also preceded in death by her sons, David Lee and Michael Wayne, her sisters Ann Wallace, Ruth O'Bien and Ruby McFarland.
Billie is survived by her daughters, Cathy Isbell Whidden and husband Eugene of Mooringsport, LA and Teresa Isbell Ferguson and husband Sammy of Mooringsport, LA, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three nephews and numerous friends. Pallbearers will be Bryan Schuler, Casey Gault, Nick Morgan, Jason Woodell, Chad Whidden, Clint Whidden.
