William A. Lee Claimed By Death
William Adolphus Lee, 82-year old resident of Greenwood, died at his home here this morning at 6 o'clock following a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at Pisgah church in Carroll county Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock conducted by Rev. L. D. Sellers and Rev. A. T. Engel of Money. Burial will be in Pisgah cemetery with Lee Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Lee was a lifelong resident of Carroll county where he was engaged in farming until retirement several years ago when he moved to Greenwood. He was a member of the Baptist church.
Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sallie Jackson Lee and the following children Mrs. Robert Ellis Provine, Grenwood; Henry T. Lee, Houma, La.; Robert E. Lee, Lake Charles, La.; Charles W. Lee, Greenwood; Mrs. J. M. Nabors Hattiesburg, also a brother, J. J. Lee, Itta Bena.
Pallbearers will be Judson Jackson, J. T. Lee, Russell Brunson, James Lee, B. B. Provine, Jr., Tommie Compton, Mack Kirby, Otto Bunch.
