Francis Edward Atterton, 82, of Provo, died Thursday, February 18, 1988 at his home. He was born April 11, 1905 in London, England, the son of John F. and Ellen Field Atterton. He married Naomia Vance July 20, 1933 in the Cardston Alberta Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include his wife of Provo; three daughters and one son: Frances McKay, Roosevelt; Laraine Anderson, Chehalis; Ellen Owen, Riverton, and Bruce Atterton, Prove; 21 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister: Ivy Ferrell, Sandy.
