He was a graduate of Ball State with a B.S. in Business Administration.
Mr. Warders was employed with Dana Corp. for 28 years and served as a senior executive as director/vice president of Industrial Relations, responsible for all labor contracts and most recently was employed with the Toledo Blade as director of Human Resources and Labor Relations.
He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God, enjoyed traveling, and most of all his life was his family and following Jesus Christ.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Peggy (Winningham) Warders; his pride and joy sons, Capt. Stuart Preston Warders, Spencer Michael Warders; sister, Elaine Hughes; sister-in-law, Kay Grimes; brother-in-law, Jesse (June) Winningham; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. until services at 2 p.m. at the Dowling Funeral Home, 7509 New West Road at King, Toledo, 419-841-8111.
Memorials contribution may be made to Calvary Assembly of God or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
