"U. G. Hinchman Dies; Rites To Be Wednesday U. Grant Hinchman, 90, died at 9 a.m. today in Rush Memorial Hospital, Rushville. A retired farmer, and former president of the Glenwood bank, he had resided three miles northeast of Glenwood in Fairview Township for many years. The last of four children of Allen and Nancy Moffett Hinchman, he was born in Rush County. He was a member of Fayette County Farm Bureau, past president of Glenwood Bank and a former Fairview Township trustee. He was a member of Fairview Christian Church, Snow Lodge 305, F. & A. M. at Falmouth, Scottish Rite, Shrine, and was a 32nd Degree Mason. He is survived by a son, Dr. Clarence P. Hinchman of Geneva, Ind., and six grandchildren, Keith Kehl of Fayette County, Mrs. William Kimmell of Mays, Mrs. John Crane of Milroy, Mrs. John Wallace of Rushville, Wayne Hinchman of Winchester and Dr. Gene Hinchman of Parker, Ind. His wife, the former Eva Huston, whom he married October 22, 1890, died in July, 1953, and a son, A. Burl Hinchman, and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Kehl, also preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. (CST) at the Moster & Sons Mortuary in Rushville. Entombment will be in East Hill Shrine Mausoleum. Dr. Frank Helme will officiate." "Hinchman Will Probated The joint will of Ulysses G. and Eva M. Hinchman, probated in Fayette Circuit Court, confirms conveyance of deeds for 160-acre farms to their grandson, Keith Eugene Kehl, and their son, Clarence Paul Hinchman, each farm to be considered as a $50,000 advancement; and for the remaining third of the estimated $150,000 estate to be divided share and share alike among their other three grandchildren, Norma Lee Crane, Maxine Wallace and Mary Louise Kimmel, children of their deceased son, Allen Burl Hinchman. The farm deeded to the son is in Union Township, Rush County, and the one deeded to the grandson, child of their deceased daughter, Mary Athalia Kehl, is in Fairview Township of Fayette County."
