August 21, 1919, son of Harry and Maude Hooks Anthony. He
was a dozer operator for the PRR. (Pennsylvania RailRoad)
He was a member of the VFW 5821 of Blairsville and of the FO Eagles 1488 of Blairsville. He served in the US Army in World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Elsie Adams Anthony, and four small children all at home, Ronald, Larry, Cathie and Sandra; one brother, Leroy Anthony and one sister,
Mrs. Mary Jane Hopper, both of Mahoning R. D. 1.
Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home, Blairsville, after 4 p.m. today until 10 p.m. Friends will then be received at the Miller Funeral Home in Rimersburg after 2 p.m. Saturday where services will be held at
2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Rimer Hill Cemetery, Armstrong County.
