Mattingly was a 1981 graduate of Bardstown High School and was employed as a mechanic by Mattingly Garage in Bardstown. He is survived by his parents, Joseph R. "Bunk" and Loraine Mattingly of Bardstown; two brothers, Donald of Cox's Creek and Jimmy Mattingly of Bardstown; two sisters, Mrs. John (Phyllis) Sower, Frankfort; and Mrs. Debbie Morris of New Haven; a grandmother, Mrs. Anna Mary Vowels of Bardstown; ; four nephews and three nieces. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Church, with burial in the church cemetery. A prayer service will be conducted at 7 o'clock tonight at the Mann and Greenwell Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today ...
