Lucy A. Edmonds, 91, surrounded by family and loved ones, was called home to be with God, Tuesday, September 8, 2009. A long time Tulsa resident, she was born August 4, 1918 in Washington, PA, to Ambrose Garfield and Lucy Voorhes Patterson. She was preceded in death by her 10 siblings and husband V. J. Edmonds. Survived by her only child, L. F. Edmonds, Seattle, WA; multiple nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews; Bill Sullivan and other "adopted" family and her dear and loving friends. She loved God, her family and friends. We will miss her deeply. "The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; The Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26. The family would like to express their appreciation and love to her church and friends for their great care of Lucy. Service 2 p.m., Friday, September 11, 2009, Woodlake Assembly of God, interment Rose Hill Cemetery. Under the direction of Moore's Eastlawn Chapel.
