Clifford O Parrish was the son of Gus & Minnie Parrish of Perry County, Tennessee. Clifford Married Betty Lorene Cook Parrish August 14, 1927 Perry County Tennessee.

To this union ten children were born: Billy Charles,Joe David, Erma Jean "Parrish" Weaver, Earl (Bob) Dean "Parrish" Horner, Helen Sue "Parrish" Plunkett, Nina "Parrish" Carlton, Linda "Parrish" Edge, Nellie Faye "Parrish" Griffin Talley, Shirley "Parrish" Baum, Shelia "Parrish" Ledbetter Beasley.

After Clifford's brother Homer and Homer's wife Georgia died the Parrish welcomed two more children into their home with open arms. Raymond & Clyde Parrish were left without a family. Gus and Minnie took them in but daddy said they stayed with Uncle Clifford and Aunt Betty as often as possible. They were always welcomed with open arms. The feeling was past down to Raymond's children. The Sunday dinners, runing in the yard, swinging with Uncle Clifford on the front porch...it never matter how many showed up the door was opened with a smile.
