Mrs Pearl Marie Queen was born in Kansas City, Mo., and had lived most of her life in St. Joseph, making her home at 103 West Louis Street. Mrs Queen is survived by her mother, Mrs. Sarah Clark, St Joseph; her father Walter J Engle, St Joseph; three daughters, Mrs Christina Hamm and her husband Tommy, Miss Donna Lee Queen, both of the home, and Mrs. Lois Marie Goatcher, St Joseph; two brothers, Albert Engle, St Joseph and Jess Jerry Engle, Aberdeen, Md., and one grand-daughter. Mrs queen was an employee of Western Hat & Cap Co. Mrs Queen was a member of the Baptist Church and the Eagles Auxiliary Club.
Mrs Pearl Queen was divorced in April from Harry (Buck) Queen, but they were seemingly reconciled.
Services for Mrs Queen will be at 1:30 Monday afternoon at the Heaton-Bowman chapel. The Rev. E.F. Hagee will officiate and burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, St Joseph Mo.
