SPOUSE: Sarah Ruth Wears Courtright Shugart b. 1854 INDIANA
(DIVORCED)
1920 U.S. CENSUS DATA
1920 Census also showed Sarah Sugart living with her son Chester A. Courtright in Weld County, Colorado.

"Aaron D. Courtright has had a checkered career, moving with his parents when only a little over two years old to Whiteside Co., Illinois. He lived there until the fall of 1875, working his father's farm after his marriage. Then he and his wife and baby moved in a wagon to Tama Co., Iowa, where they lived eleven years. In October, 1886, he moved with his family to Boulder Co., Colorado, and still lives there, being a market gardener at present, but has been a miner. After twenty-one years of married life, his wife tired of him and left him and married again. Aaron's second venture in matrimony did not prove satisfactory, so, after one week and one day, they separated. He has traveled extensively in the west and owns eighty acres of well improved land in Camden Co., Missouri.
He had three sons by first wife:
Burton Ralph Courtright, b. in Whiteside Co., Illinois, June 24, 1875; lives with his father.
Chester Arthur Courtright, b. in Tama Co., Iowa, November 15, 1881; lives at Portland, Texas.
Leon Ray Courtright, b. in Tama Co., Iowa, July 24, 1885; d. in Boulder Co., Colorado, November 2, 1887."
