Baird. 88, of Gallipolis Ferry. Mason
County, died Friday in Pleasant Valley
Hospital, Point Pleasant, after a long illness.
Mr. Baird. a retired farmer, was a
member of Mount Carmel United Methodist
Church.
Surviving: wife. Lillie Kinnaird Baird;
son. Kerr Baird of Gallipolis Ferry;
daughters. Mrs. Aileen Allton of Gallipolis
Ferry, Mrs. Helena Campbell of Point
Pleasant. Mrs. Dorothy Withers of Grove
City, Ohio: foster daughter, Mrs. Bonnie t
Duncan of Tampa, Fla.: eight grandchildren:
five great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday in Mount
Carmel United Methodist Church. Gallipolis
Ferry, with the Rev. Bud Hatfield
officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel
Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m.
today at Stevens Funeral Home, Point
Pleasant.
