LAKELAND - Earline Estelle Miller, 91, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013, as a result of natural causes.
Mrs. Miller was born April 23, 1922 in Tuscaloosa, AL. She and her family moved to Polk County in the early 1950s and she remained a resident for over 65 years. Mrs. Miller was employed by US Steel Company. She retired as a buyer after over 30 years of service. Mrs. Miller was a member of Scott Lake Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She loved music and enjoyed ballroom dancing, but she found her greatest joy in spending time with family and friends
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husbands, Bob McKeehen and Charlie Miller; son, Wayne Kinard; brothers, George and James Howton; grandsons, Ken and Jeff Kinard; and granddaughter, Karen Leigh-Kinard. She is survived by her son, Don Kinard and his wife, Laura; sister, Mary Carlsen; grandchildren, Kim, Linda, Leanne, Sarah, Richard and Wayne; 16 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Miller's family will receive friends Friday, July 12, 2013 from 10-11 am at Lakeland Funeral Home at 2125 South Bartow Highway in Lakeland. A celebration of her life will follow at 11am with Charles Schwartz officiating. Interment will be conducted at Oak Hill Burial Park. Condolences may be made to Mrs. Miller's family at
