William C. Schultz was born December 17, 1938 in Iowa City, Iowa to William Clifford and Dema Ilene Morrow Schultz. He was raised in the Fairfield, Iowa area. He attended meat cutting school in Ohio. He was employed at various jobs including Norris Construction Company in Ottumwa, Iowa and at Cathy's Tire Repair in Fairfield, Iowa. He is survived by two sons; Ronald and Donald Schultz, and two daughters Sandra Kay and Teresa all of Des Moines. Five brothers; Darrell Schultz and his wife Charlene of Chandler, Indiana, Wayne Carlson of Burlington, IA. Emer Carlson and his wife Barbara of Fairfield, IA., Don Carlson and his wife Teri of Tucson, Arizona, and Harold Carlson and his wife Renee of Boulder, Colorado, three sisters; Joann Hicks and her special friend Dusty Campbell of Fairfield, IA., Betty Holt and her husband Nick of Fairfield, IA., and Donna Pohren and her husband Jack of Lockridge, IA., two half-sisters; Sandra Stanley and her husband Jerald of Tunnersville, North Carolina, and Susan Caulder of High Point, North Carolina, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Bessie Maxine Still and Alma Jane Carlson who died in infancy. He attended school in Fairfield, Iowa. Mr. Schultz enjoyed putting puzzles together, being outdoors, and being with his friends at the Red Shed in Hedrick, Iowa. Memorials may be made in his name to Hedrick Housing, Hedrick, Iowa.
