Tabor City, N.C. - Dorothy Fowler, 76, died Saturday, March 3, 2001, in the Loris Hospital. She was the widow of Woodrow Fowler. A native of Horry County, she was the daughter of the late John and Cornie Stroud Grainger.
She is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Coleman and husband Frank of Cerro Gordo, N.C.; Betty McDaniels and husband Mutt of Green Sea; Brenda Prince and husband Eddie of Tabor City; two sons, Mitchell Fowler and wife Wanda of Tabor City; Royce Fowler and wife Sondra of Clarendon, N.C.; a brother: Walter Earl Grainger of Rock Hill; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held March 6 in the Carolina Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Thomas L. Ward and Rev. Randy Ghent, with interment in the Carolina Cemetery, Green Sea. Services were provided by Inman Funeral Home of Tabor City.
