Mrs Mary Bell Brandt, 68, died at the city hospital at 5:45pm Wednesday. Mrs Brandt had made her home for more that two years with her nephew, W H Straney 1539 East Nineteenth Street. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs Leonard Gatton and Mrs Guston Millay, both of Owensboro; five sons, Anthony and Leslie Brandt, both of Owensboro, Matthew Brandt of Whitersville, and John and William Brandt of Evansville; two sisters Mrs Joseph Svitka of Milwaukee WI and Mrs Agnita Roark of Cairo, IL; two nieces, one in Owensboro and one in Beech Creek; fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The body will remain at the home of her son Anthony Brandt 1412 East Eighteenth St until time of the funeral friday morning. Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.
